Quinoa patties with Green Salad aside

Ingredients (makes 9)

¼ cup uncooked quinoa (white, red or black)
½ onion, minced
1 garlic clove, minced
1/8 cup sunflower seeds
1 tbsp Fiber
1 tsp dry oregano
1 tbsp gluten free flour
½ cup water
Sea salt and pepper
1 tbsp olive oil


Cook the quinoa in water, but leave it a little hard so the patties don’t get mushy. Rinse well and set aside.
Heat up a pan and sauté the onion and garlic on the olive oil until brown.
Combine the water and flour in a bowl and add it to the pan mixing until you have a batter. Turn off the heat.
Add the cook quinoa, seeds, Fiber, oregano, season to taste and mix well.
Let the mixture to cool and make the patties with your hands or with a ice cream scoop.
Heat up a frying pan and seal the patties until golden brown and serve with salad.
